Ozgen has performed, taught, choreographed & directed for the last 18 years. His reputation as a male belly dancer & teacher has taken him across the world. In Istanbul, he joined the cast of Night of the Sultans combining contemporary dance, ballet and oriental dance. Ozgen taught for several years at the Tolgahan Dance School in Istanbul, and is now based in London, teaching and performing Turkish Oriental & Romani (Gypsy) dance internationally. 


ROMANI STREET SCENE PERFORMANCE PROJECT (OVER 3 SUNDAYS)


Join Ozgen to learn a Turkish Roman dance choreography to be performed on April 30th 2017 at the ZeoT show. This workshop series is a great opportunity to learn technique and acting skills for this dance style and perform Ozgen’s Roman street scene on stage. Ozgen will teach both dance technique for Roman dance as well as assisting you in the characterization of the dance.

Registration is for all 3 workshops plus performance in the ZeoT Zürich show on Sunday 30th April. Payment in full is required on registration to secure your place. Places are limited to 14 for the Performance Project.
